About ONE
Family Night of Praise was born out of a desire to link arms with our brothers and sisters in Christ, to bust out ONE collective voice to lift High the powerful and redeeming Name of Jesus.
I am so excited about this new thing that God is calling us to and want more than anything to press in to know Him more! To be obedient to what He calls us to and to step boldly in places where we can See Him moving ...Father your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven! Your kingdom come, here on earth! I am asking for the Holy Spirit to give us eyes to see each member of the body as valuable and treasured. Each is unique in its gifting .
By design! So please pray that as we intentionally invite the churches of the Valley together for an opportunity to link arms and raise the name of Jesus that the visible and invisible boundaries that exist may be broken and that we will find strength in our unity under the banner of Jesus! Like the first church of Acts...

"All the believers were ONE in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had." Acts 4:32
WHO ARE WE:
A group of lay people from various Christian churches in the Yakima Valley who desire to love
passionately, encourage one another in the faith through concerts, studies and outreach opportunities. Committed to linking arms across cultural, language, age, and denominational boundaries to share the Love of Christ with one another and with our valley.
Our Statement of Faith: We Believe:
• The Bible His Word to All People. The Bible is God’s written word to all people. Written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Since God inspired it, the Bible is truth without mixture of error and
is completely relevant to our daily lives.
• The Trinity God: Three in One God has existed in relationship with Himself for all eternity. He exists as one substance in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves a different function, they each possess equal power and authority.
• The Father God is Great; He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, He is holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. God is good: He is our perfect Father, loving,
compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.
• The Son It is All about Jesus. He is completely human but at the same time completely God. He is the only plan for
bringing people far from God back into right relationship with God. Jesus lived a perfect life so that He could
be the substitution for us in satisfying God’s demands for perfection. He received the punishment for our sins
when He died on the cross satisfying God’s wrath, and defeating death in His resurrection so that we could all
have life.
• The Holy Spirit God is always with us. The presence of the Holy Spirit assures us of our relationship with Christ, guiding believers into all truth. He convicts people of sin, reminds us of God’s righteousness and the coming judgment. He also is our comforter, the giver of spiritual gifts, empowers us to witness boldly, and make us more like Christ.
• Eternity
Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with
God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union
with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.
• Man
Man is made in the image of God and is the supreme object of His creation. Man was created to have
fellowship with God but became separated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man
cannot attain a right relationship with God through his efforts alone. Every human person possesses dignity, is
uniquely created, and is worthy of respect.
• Salvation
Jesus is the only way to salvation. The blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross, provides the only way of
salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and
resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned
through our own efforts. Jesus is the antidote.
• The Church
The church is His plan for His people. The church is a local community of baptized believers unified through
faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ, obeying all His commands, and it seeks to share the
gospel with the world. The Church works together through love and unity to fulfill the ultimate purpose of
glorifying Christ.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT: To be the hands and heart of God to our communities in the lower Valley.
